How does your media product represent particular social groups? Our film would represent a small social group as it is a niche film. I think the type of people what would be able to empathize with our character are people who are slightly outcast them selves, and they would therefore be drawn to see the film as they can relate to how 'Red' feels. I also think our film represents a lower class audience, possibly coming from broken homes who would also be
able to relate to the content of the film, I think the film could
appeal to possibly working class or higher but less because they think it looks interesting and relatable and more because it a horror, and they're going for the thrills. Red is an almost un-relatable character as she is so isolated, and odd almost giving a sense of pleasure to those who can relate and making the experience even better for them.
